Wildfire early warning, from the ground up

The industry watches wildfires from above.
The earliest signals are on the ground.

TreeTracker places low-cost sensing devices inside wildfire hotspot zones and turns ground-level signals into localized alerts for the communities and stakeholders who need them most.

“Wildfires do not wait. Neither should the warning.”
01 — The problem

By the time smoke is visible from above, the window to act early has already closed.

Wildfire risk is hard to monitor continuously across large, high-risk areas. Today's approaches - satellites and aircraft - can be expensive, slow, or not localized enough for the people operating closest to the hotspots.

The communities closest to the fire get the least localized warning.

02 — How it works

A hardware-software system in four connected layers, from device to alert

1

Distributed field devices

Low-cost sensing devices placed inside defined wildfire hotspot zones.

2

Environmental sensing

Heat signatures and related conditions - temperature, particulate, humidity, and wind - collected continuously, with anomaly detection at the edge.

3

Data transmission

Field data flows over meaningful distances to a software platform for analysis, tracking, and deployment management.

4

Localized alerts

When signals meet defined criteria, actionable warnings reach the communities and stakeholders who need them.

03 — Where it stands

The honest version

  • Pre-deployment. Zero devices in the field. The first physical device is in active build right now.
  • Full system architecture designed across all four layers, device to alert.
  • A 90-day validation plan is written and ready to execute, with documented measurement standards.
  • Solo founder, full-time, recruiting an equity-aligned technical cofounder with hardware experience.
  • Preparing a $1M pre-seed raise, milestone-based, to fund product validation, hardware development, and field testing.

What we're looking for

Technical cofounder

A founding seat, not a job posting. Hardware architecture, embedded systems, environmental sensors, IoT and edge devices, power management, ruggedized enclosures, field deployment. Equity-based founding partnership with shared ownership and transparent vesting.

Pilot-site connections

Land managers, municipalities, utilities - anyone who manages land or assets in wildfire-prone regions and wants earlier, localized warning. A pilot is the fastest path to proving this in the field.

If you build hardware, manage land at risk, or back early climate tech - the warning should start with you.
